Improper Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization developing coffee agroforestry systems to improve health and economic outcomes in Madagascar and Uganda.
We are planting coffee-centric forests, purchasing coffee from local farmers, and selling it in the U.S., with all profits reinvested into the communities where it was grown to fund sustainable development projects that improve the health of people and their natural ecosystems.
The name improper celebrates irreverence towards convention and a wild commitment to what truly matters—serving others.
To live improper is a challenge—to serve others through your passions in a way that improves their self-determination.
